Experienced Quality Assurance Leader Terrence Purnell Terrence Purnell is an accomplished leader in quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and project management. He worked for nearly four years at Takeda Pharmaceuticals in collaborative projects and quality assurance and served as the associate director and certified quality auditor (CQA). Before joining Takeda Pharmaceuticals in 2020, Terrence Purnell spent over three years as the Head of CQA Operations for the Americas at CSL Behring in Pennsylvania and more than two years as the Senior Quality Assurance Auditor for Quintiles in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. During his time as a student at Drexel University, Mr. Purnell was selected to take part in a summer undergraduate research fellowship (SURF) at the Drexel University College of Medicine. His SURF project won first prize in the Undergraduate Poster Presentation at Drexel College of Medicine Discovery Day. After earning his biological science degree and a certificate of achievement from the Peer Leadership Program, he earned a master of science in clinical pharmacology from Thomas Jefferson University. Mr. Purnell is a member of the Society of Quality Assurance, the Mid-Atlantic Region Society of Quality Assurance, and the Society of Clinical Research Associates. In his free time, his interests include cycling and hiking.
